The Handley revolving drum multiplying bait caster fishing reel was made by manufacturing jeweler J.W.Handley Abbotsford, Melbourne, Victoria, who produced three models – the A, B, and C series, in the early 1950s.

HANDLEY MODEL ‘’C’’ De-luxe version. -C 1952. Constructed of high-grade nickel silver, the parts are heavily chromium-plated. Equipped with self-locking end bearings for centralizing the spool, and felt pads for retaining oil in spool caps, every part has been carefully designed and built to give perfect action. A brake screw has been incorporated for free spool, anti-backlash adjustment. Optional check, level line wind mechanism. HANDLEY MODEL ‘’B’’ standard version. -C 1952 A perfectly balanced reel features brass side plates which are nickel plated with a polished finish. Self-locking end bearing centralizing (as model C) optional check, level line wind mechanism. HANDLEY MODEL ‘’A’’ A low-priced reel with end plates made of aluminium alloy. Side plates are finished with hard-baked enamels.
